It was reported that two men were killed by lightning on the evening of May 5th while waiting under a tree to plow the field behind the Ikalang Prison Camp in Sin Farm Village Village, Yangon Region.
In that incident, around 4:00 PM on May 5th, due to heavy rains and strong winds, they were struck by lightning while resting under a tree, and both died on the spot.
“Of course two men were struck by lightning under the tree. They are waiting under the tree to plow the field. It’s raining and lightning. At that time, two men were shot. The two are farm owners,” a resident who lives near the incident told MT News.
The two men who were struck by lightning are 44-year-old U Than Naing Oo, who lives in Pyin Sa Hla Village, and 24-year-old U Htet Lin Naing, who lives in Oakan Kamgone Village.
