Ro Nay San Lwin, a member of the FRC, wrote on social media that three Bengalis were killed and dozens were injured when AA opened fire on Buthidaung High School this morning.
“At 1:30 a.m. on May 4th, 3 Bengali civilians (originally written as Rohingya) were killed and dozens were injured due to the shooting at Buthidaung Village No. 1 High School. At that school, the Rohingyas from U Hlaphe, Saintaung and Ywarnyotaung villages are taking temporary shelter. The 3 people who died were from Ywarnyotaung village. The news sources said that the Arakan Army (AA) fired with heavy weapons,” Ro Nay San Lwin shared in both English and Burmese on the social networks he uses.
