In order to further promote friendship and cooperation between the air forces of Thailand and Myanmar, the Tatmadaw (Air) delegation led by Chief of Defense (Air) General Tun Aung left Yangon for Thailand by air, on the evening of April 30th. The visit was a goodwill visit at the invitation of Air Chief Marshal Punpakdee Pattanakul, the Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, in order to further promote friendship and cooperation between the two air forces of Myanmar and Thailand.
Major General Zaw Hein, commander of the Yangon Region Military Headquarters; Senior military officers and officials greet a goodwill delegation led by the Chief of Defense (Air) at Yangon International Airport.
During the visit to Thailand, the Commander-in-Chief of Defense (Air) will be accompanied by senior officers from the Tatmadaw (Air), and they will meet and discuss issues related to the further promotion of friendship and cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.
