The Mizoram State Police, India has announced that they have arrested two persons with explosives materials that were to be sent to Myanmar.
The Mizoram state police seized the explosives materials during an interception of a car heading towards the Sangau region bordering Myanmar.
Indian police said they found more than 1,500 detonators and 8,000 sticks of dynamite in the car and initially arrested the driver.
The Mizoram state police arrested the Indian citizen driver and then arrested the original owner of the explosives materials, a Myanmar citizen living in Sangau area on April 30.
