In response to information, a combined team including personnel of the Drug Enforcement Division examined DONGFENG vehicle driven by Ngwe Aung, accompanied by Min Min, leading to Pyin Oo Lwin from Mogok, on the Mogok-Pyin Oo Lwin road in Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay region, at 0900 a.m. on 8-10-2022 and seized 1500 kg of ICE (Methamphetamine) and 1 kg of Ketamine worth of over 30 billion kyats covered by cement bags on the vehicle. Pursuant to the investigation, it was known that the seized drugs were being trafficked from Shan state (North) to Rakhine. In this case, the offenders have taken action under the law. The follow-up processes are being carried out to trace the drug linkages of the case.
