Myanmar’s avocado will be displayed at Trade Fairs in Thailand to expand the country’s avocado market and to penetrate Asian market.
Myanmar Avocado Producer and Exporter Association (MAVO) with the help of International Trade Central Department is making an effort in the avocado season of this year to penetrate foreign market.
Myanmar avocado will be displayed at Asia Fruit Logistica 2022 held in Bangkok in Thailand in the coming month to penetrate Asian market, according to an official of MOVA.
Myanmar will mainly showcase its largely grown Pinkerton variety and Hass variety that are California species at the trade show held from November 2 to 4.
Myanmar has discussed with neighboring countries to carry out technological cooperation to produce other avocado-related products as people mostly drink avocado juice in Myanmar.
Currently, avocado noodle and avocado hair oil which are made up of avocado, are produced in Myanmar, but the domestic market is not wide, a farmer in Nawnghkio answerd the question raised by MT News.
