Yesterday morning Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People Republic of China H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun at the parlor of the SAC chairman office.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed about the China’s assistance of the peace process and holding peace talks with Ethnic armed groups (EAOs) for peace and stability of border regions and the state, the needs for the bilateral cooperation to protect from the danger of narcotic drugs, for the recovery of bilateral trade and commodity flows, peace and stability of border areas, further development of bilateral friendship and cooperation, the need to further improvement of bilateral economic cooperation and collaboration in all sectors, political developments in Myanmar and the international affairs, and the implementation of regional stability.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister together with SAC Joint Secretary Lt. Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, responsible officials and also, the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs was accompanied by officials from the Embassy of the People Republic of China to Myanmar.
