The Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) announced if garment workers want to return home during the Thingyan holiday, they will be issued company letters of recommendation on March 2.
According to the statement, it states that as the factory owners made a letter of recommendation, in which their company is a CMP pieceworker and the following employee is a staff worker in their factory, and the employees working in the garment factory the request must be made in writing to be able to assist with travel needs.
The Name of the worker, Registration No, Social Security No, Company employee No, Working department, Current address, and Permanent address must be mentioned, including the signature, position of the company’s official, and stamp of the company office, it is reported.
