General Kyi Khaing of the regional commander, officials, and people’s militia (local) members attended “The Ceremony Of Handing Over Arms” in Yan Aung Myin Hall of Central Military Command in Mandalay.
First, the regional commander gave a speech and explained regarding the handover of weapons, and then the regional commander and officials handed over the weapons to the militia (local) units.
After that, the regional commander and officials looked at the weapons that were installed and greeted the members of the militia (indigenous) unit cordially.
It is reported that the armed were handed over to the members of the people’s militia force on March 21.
