In an operation named Ops Cegah in Johor Baru district, Malaysia, and an operation to raid and arrest entertainment centers in Ikanda Puteri, were arrested 12 Myanmar nationals, Malaysia-based news reported yesterday.

From March 13 to 17, 26 buildings were raided in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and more than 60 foreigners were arrested, including 11 Myanmar nationals. Among the 11 arrested Myanmar nationals, four men between the ages of 3 and 61; Four women and three children were involved, and they were arrested for working in eateries without valid working permits and overstaying in the country, according to reports.

Similarly, state immigration officials raided an entertainment center in Ikanda Puteri and arrested several foreign girls employed as “flower girls” entertaining men, including a Myanmar national.
