According to the Association of Myanmar Travel Agents, there will be a large number of abroad tours during the upcoming Thingyan holiday. During the last office holiday, there were a large number of people who went on short trips abroad.
“There are many people who travel abroad on Thingyan Day. Especially the Thingyan holiday is convenient for traveling. When the holiday lasts for 10 days, some people are planning to travel to Europe, including countries in the ASEAN region,” said U Naung Naung Han, chairman of the Myanmar Tourism Entrepreneurs Association.
It is reported that some local areas are not peaceful, so most of the domestic tourists go on foreign trips. At present, some local tourists visit the Chaungthar, Ngwesaung, Bagan, Mandalay and Shan State trip plans are also being made for a trip. “Currently, we know that the security in these areas is still good. So, there are regular travelers. There is nothing unacceptable to the hotels in the area,” he continued to explain.
