On March 13th, 11 residential houses were destroyed due to overheating of a red frying pan in Nawaday Road, Satsan Ward, Yangon Region.
At the time, the fire started in the kitchen of a 15 feet long by 10 feet wide residential house due to overheating of a red pan, and the fire lasted for more than 40 minutes, and 11 residential houses were destroyed by fire.
“It was very windy at the time of the fire. Because it was near the shore, the houses were destroyed in a short time. The road was narrow, so many fire trucks couldn’t get in,” said a firefighter.
More than 110 firemen had to put out the fire in 11 homes with 8 firefighting vehicles, 1 administrative vehicle and 8 light fire engines.
Due to the event, 44-year-old U Ko Ko Aung has been charged with Section 285 by the Sesan Police Station.
