According to the Myanmar Thanaka Planters, Producers and Exporters Association, they are planning to export Myanmar Thanakha to the level of ready-to-use finished goods. The finished Thanakas were planning to export to ASEAN countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia by Myanmar.
At present, Myanma Thanaka is selling regularly in the domestic market, and if it is to be exported to the foreign market, it cannot be exported as a raw material, so it will be manufactured to a ready-to-use level, then exported in the form of a cream. In addition, it is reported that Myanmar Thanakha is being submitted to the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO.
Thanakha trees start selling in the market in six to seven years, and it takes 35 years to get the best quality Thanakha tree.
