Zeekr, the premium electric car brand of Geely Holding Group, which is based in Hangzhou, China, is planning to set up a subsidiary in Thailand and is working with distributors to sell in regional countries, including Myanmar, this year.
The automaker, Geely’s electric vehicle brand has signed contracts with local distributors in Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines and planning to begin sales in the market in the second quarter of this year, the spokesperson said.
Premier Automotive Limited (PAL), which stands as the exclusive distributor for the Zeekr brand in the Myanmar market, signed a partnership agreement last January. PAL also promised to become the most successful automobile company in Myanmar by providing professional service experience.
