The 78th anniversary celebration of the Myanmar Film Association was held today, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Myanmar Film Association Cinema Hall in Bahan Township, Yangon.
“It can be said that the 78th anniversary of the film association theater is a very beautiful and blessed day. They started shooting the movie Metta and Athura, which started in 1920. They started dancing Nay win Mee Nyein drama opera. It is also an honor of the Myanmar Film Association. The Film Association fulfilled its responsibilities during the period,” said U Ye Tint, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information.
At the event, Patron U Aung Lwin, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information U Ye Tint, Director of Academy Zaw Myint Oo and others attended and gave a speech. In addition, Yan Aung,Khant Sithu, Nebalu, May Thannu, Soe Thiha, Wah Wah Aung, Chit Chit Zaw, Matuu, Ma Ma Song and other artists attended.
The Myanmar Film Association, which was founded on March 8, 1946, has turned 78 years old on March 8, 2024. Today, the Myanmar Film Association held a “Traditional Myanmar” short story competition.
