Local reported that a car which was traveling from Kalay City to India-Myanmar border to avoid the war, happened by accident, killing two people and injuring 17 people in Tedim Township, Chin State on 6 March.
It is known that the car that was carrying evacuees could only carry 14 or 15 people, including the normal driver, but it was carrying 19 people and full weight of goods, so it crashed on the side of the road near Lam Zan Village, Tedim Township.
Pu Lalhmahruaia (49 years old) and his wife Pi Lalnunpari (48 years old) died at the place of the accident, and all the passengers including 5 children were injured.
