A cement truck overturned on the main road in Chaung Thar township, Ayeyawaddy Region, died one person and injured 15 others. It happened around 6:00 p.m. on March 7, according to a local social assistance association such as Dhamapala Social Assistance Association and Parami Social Assistance Association.
It is reported that a truck carrying about 12 people returning to Chaung Thar from Pathein crashed and got injured. As a result of the incident, about 15 people including children in the car were seriously injured, one boy was died and three men and two women were seriously injured (critically). In the emergency transportation of these patients to Pathein Hospital, Dhamapala Charitable Association (Chaung Thar), Parami Funeral Society-Chaung Thar, Chaung Thar City Red Cross Nursing Corps and Chaung Thar township Fire Department all assisted.
