On March 4th, regarding the peace talks held in Kunming, China, Major General Zaw Min Tun, head of SAC’s press release team, explained the following to the media.
1) The country’s borders and sovereignty will continue to be strong.
2) Maintaining the stability of the local people’s economic life and continuing the course of ceasefire and conflict reduction.
3) Border region stability, rule of law and border gate management and trade will be under the management of the two governments.
4) The Myanmar government will continue to protect the interests of China and Myanmar.
5) The two governments will work together to decisively suppress drug cybercrimes that affect border stability.
6) Myanmar does not accept any actions that use Myanmar’s territory to harm the interests of neighboring countries.
7) SAC thanked all those related to the Chinese government who made the peace talks possible.
