According to statistics published by the Ministry of Commerce, between April and February (23) of this fiscal year, more than 4.06 billion US dollars were transacted in border trade between Myanmar and Thailand. During this period, in the border trade between the two countries, there was a surplus of goods worth 2.86 billion US dollars from the Myanmar side, and goods worth 1.20 billion dollars were reimported from the Thai side. In the same period of the last fiscal year, the bilateral trade volume reached more than 4.90 billion US dollars, compared to a decrease of 842.848 million US dollars.
