According to the Treasurer’s Board of Trustees, more than 500,000 pilgrims from all over the country have come to pray to the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda. The Buddha Puzhaniya festival of the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda is held from the full moon day of Thadingyut to the full moon day of Kasone,and during the festival, more than 200 vehicles are running up and down the mountain every day. Due to the return of pilgrims, restaurant businesses and Accommodation businesses were reported to have had reasonable convenience.
