The Central Bank of Myanmar has announced that it will sell $10 million and 200 million Thai baht into the financial market on March 4.
According to the statement, the Central Bank of Myanmar sold $131.31 million and 900 million Thai baht into the financial market within a month and a half.

In addition, on January 1st, the central bank issued and sold a SWAP facility equivalent to $ 4 million US dollars in Chinese yuan, $1.4 million, 4.2 Chinese yuan and 13.5 million Thai baht for importers and 22.15 million for companies importing fuel.

Since December 5, 2023, the Central Bank canceled the reference rate of the dollar, the price of one dollar has reached more than 3,600 kyats in the external market.
