According to a statement released by the State Administration Council, a total of twelve PDF members, who returned to the legal fold, were entrusted to the care of their parents by the officials. Moreover, cash rewards of 34mln MMK were also provided.
The ceremony of entrusting PDF members to their respective parents was held at the local military halls of Tamu City, Hkamti City, Paungbyin City, Kale City, Monywa City and Pakokku City, yesterday, February 29.
The twelve PDF members submitted their weapons and ammunition while they returned to the legal fold. The ammunition they carried involved two rifles and one pistol. Therefore, the SAC rewarded 8mln MMK for two rifles, 2mln MMK for a pistole and 2mln MMK for each of the 12 PDF members who came to the legal fold.
