According to the Myanmar Police Force, 16.5 lakh stimulant tablets, which worth 3.3 billion Kyats were seized in Pyay and Min Hla Township.
On February 13, at 9:00 a.m., security forces searched the ISUZU Light Truck at the top of the Nawaday Bridge, Pyay City. Stimulant tablets (1,410,000) were found hidden in the house paint boxes and compressor air containers on ISUZU Light Truck.
According to the investigation, the security forces seized a Bighorn Car which carried stimulant tablets (240,000) at Pathein-Monywa Highway road (near the 205 miles) on February 13, at 7:30 p.m. and Kyaw Hla, who was involved in the transportation of stimulant tablets, was arrested in Mindon City on February 14. The hotel, in which Kyaw Hla was staying, continued to be seized, a total of 1,650,000 stimulant tablets with a local value of 3.3 billion Kyats were seized.
According to the investigation of the defendants, it was found that the seized stimulant tablets were transported and sold from Yangon Region to the border of Rakhine State.
