AA, which is attacking the entire northern part of Rakhine State, is also surrounding Sittwe city, and due to the attack, this morning, heavy weapon shell fell in the city’s vegetable market near the Korean port of Sittwe, killing at least 13 people and injuring up to 32 people.
At around 8 o’clock this morning, two weapon shells fell into the vegetable and fish market near the Korean port, and because of at the market was busy buying food for cooking the Rakhine people were killed and several injured. At present time, regarding this incident, security forces have arrived to assist in the investigation and security has been tightened at the scene.
After capturing seven cities in northern Rakhine, the AA prepared to attack the capital city Sittwe. Moreover, on February 19th, a bomb exploded at a Korean port, and now this incident has caused casualties. AA, which has blocked the city, is also firing heavy weapons to the army battalions from Sittwe at the entrance of the city, and they are accusing each other of this incident.
