Statista organization which regularly reports information around the world, released the list of countries which are the most export rice to foreign trade. According to this report Myanmar exported 1.8 million metic ton of rice to foreign countries in the fiscal year of 2023-2024 and ranking 8th country in the world.
In the list of countries that exported the most rice to foreign countries in the fiscal year 2023-24, Myanmar’s neighboring country Thailand,ranks second in the world, and Thailand was able to export 8.2 million metric tons of rice to foreign countries. In addition, Myanmar’s neighboring country, India, is the top exporter of rice to the world, exporting 16.5 million metric tons of rice to foreign countries.
