According to local residents, a monk who was walking in the corridor of the monastery was hit by bombs and died due to a drop bomb attack by local armed PDF groups in Katha Township.
On February 25, the terrorise happened at about 1:00 p.m. in Pawma Myin Village, Katha Township, Sagaing Region. The 71-year-old monk U Sandawara, who was visiting the village monastery from the Shwe Hintan Monastery in Htee Chaint City, while walking in the corridor in monastery, was hit by a drop bomb from the local armed PDF groups.
