According to local residents, two PDF young men shot and killed the ward administrator who was sitting in a restaurant, and a woman bystander was hit and injured.
The terrorise occurred on February 26 at around 8:30 p.m. in Ward No. (14) Sitkwinyat, Chauk City, Mandalay Devision. The 42-year-old ward administrator who was sitting and talking at Aung Yadran 2 restaurant was killed by two unknown men, who wore black shirts and white shirts and came from the PDF group. They entered the shop and fired about 7 shots. A 40-year-old woman who was sitting next to her was hit by a bullet and suffered two wounds (critical) in her abdomen.
Relevant security forces arrived at the scene of the incident and conducted an investigation.
