Beikthano Gallery displays 100 artworks by 35 late masters

Currently, an exhibition of around 100 artworks by 35 late masters of Myanmar art is on display at the Beikthano Gallery in Yangon, from 24 February to 16 March 2024. These pieces, spanning various mediums from oil to watercolour and encompassing diverse styles, depict places and peoples from all around the country’s ethnic groups, offering a glimpse into Myanmar’s bygone eras.

These renowned artists showcase their talent and vision through a variety of mediums, including oil and watercolour. Each piece offers a unique perspective, capturing scenes and portraits that reflect the cultural richness and heritage of Myanmar.

This gallery is open to the public, allowing everyone to engage with these masterpieces. It is located at 113/3 (B), Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Bahan, Yangon.  The Beikthano Gallery invites art enthusiasts and curious minds alike to experience the beauty and depth of Myanmar’s artistic heritage firsthand.
