Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and Lt-Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, Commander of the III Corps (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/III_Corps_(India)) of Indian Army discussed bilateral cooperation to ensure peace, stability, security and development along the common border.
Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received a delegation led by Lt-Gen Harjeet Singh Sahi, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, Commander of the III Corps (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/III_Corps_(India)) of Indian Army at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw on21 February morning.
During the meeting, cordial discussions were centred on cementing friendly relations and ongoing cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, and bilateral cooperation to ensure peace, stability, security and development along the common border.
Present together with the Vice-Senior General were the Commander of North-West Command Maj-Gen Than Htaik and senior military officers from the Office of Commander-in-Chief. The III Corps commander was accompanied by Indian Military Attaché Col Jaswinder Singh Gill and officials.
