For the militia service system that will be implemented in the coming months, the formation of the Central body for summoning people’s military servants was issued by the Union Cabinet with Order No. (1/2024) on the evening of February 13th.
As every citizen is obliged to safeguard the “Our Three Main National Causes”, viz non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity, and the perpetuation of the sovereignty, to be able to carry out this responsibility, the people’s military law has already been enacted for military education and national defense and it was formed according to section (6) of the said law.
In this group, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Defense is acting as the chairman, and the Commander of the Army, Navy, and Air Force is acting as the vice-chairman. As members Minister of Interior, Minister of Border Affairs, Union Minister of Law, Minister of Information, Minister of Religion and Culture, Minister of Immigration and Manpower, Minister of Labor, Minister of Education, Minister of Health, Minister of Ethnic Affairs, Chief of Staff, Chief Military Training Officer, Director of Medical Staff Directorate, Commander-in-Chief, The Director of the Directorate of Militia and Border Forces to be involved.
The State Peace and Development Council government enacted the National Military Service Law in 2010, and the date the law came into effect was announced by the chairman of SAC.
