In the quarter-final match of the DFB Pokal Cup, Leverkusen defeated Stuttgart (3-2) and advanced to the semi-finals. They were lucky to score late goals and won this game with a late goal again.
In this match, the host Bayer Leverkusen was led twice by Stuttgart but played from Ashun and scored an equalizing goal and a winning goal. Jonathan Tah’s late winner in the 90th minute sent Xavi Alonso’s men through to the semi-finals. Therefore, Leverkusen has been able to set a record of 30 matches without losing in all competitions this season.
If they can continue to play 2 more games without losing, they will match Bayern Munich’s record of 32 games the longest unbeaten run in all competitions.
