The (77th) Union Day ceremony will be held on 10-2-2024 with a rehearsal and on 12-2-2024 from 0400 a.m until the end of the ceremony at the public square.
It is reported that the Yangon Region Government has informed and encouraged that during the ceremony, Pyay Road will be temporarily closed, so vehicles driving from north to south along Pyay Road should turn right at the Myay Ni Kone traffic light and drive to Oak Kyae Myin Tai Road, and vehicles driving South to North along Pyay Road should turn to Pyidaungsu Yake Thar road and drive through Central Road to Oak Kyae Myin Tai Road.
