In honour of the 77th Anniversary Union Day, the Taung Thaman Maezel Plain will be opened

To celebrate the 77th Union Day, the opening ceremony of Taungthaman Maezel Plain in Amarapura Township will be held in a crowded manner.
Taung Thaman Meuzel Plain is a tourist destination where there is a group of intangible cultural heritages such as Taung Thaman Lake, U Pain Bridge and Mae Tzael Pintan. Taung Thaman Lake covers an area of over 200 acres, and the U Pain Bridge, built in 1211 across the Taung Tha Man Lake, is 3,967 feet long, has 1,086 pillars and 482 panels. As the longest wooden bridge in the world, it is famous not only in Myanmar but also in the world.

Under the leadership of the Mandalay Region Government, the Mandalay City Municipal Development Committee, in cooperation with the Department of Archeology, has carried out the renovation and maintenance of the U Pain Bridge, the greening of the Taungthaman Maezel plain, and the construction of 82 shops and the placement of shops. It is reported that road cleaning works are being carried out to be able to welcome and celebrate Union Day.
