According to the Board of Trustees of Bagan, many domestic pilgrims visit the ancient cultural area of Bagan on the full moon day of Pya Tho, and many domestic pilgrims visit the religious buildings and famous historical Pagodas.
U Than Win Naing, a pilgrim from Bone Taw Pyae Village, Nat Mauk Township, said that it was very exciting to see the ancient architecture of the wall paintings and the different structures of the Pagoda Caves.
On the full moon day of Pya Tho, famous historical pagodas are filled with local pilgrims and visitors, even causing parking problems. Bagan City, Nga Tha Youk city in Nyaung Oo Township, it is known that there are many donations of seasonal crops to Ananda Pagoda.
