Troops serving regional security and tranquility duties in the Tada-U township of Mandalay found seven 107mm rockets that targeted Tada-U airpost. Further action will be taken against the seized rockets by the procedures, and the troops will continue their security duties.
An official from the Urban Special Operation (U.S.O.) said that the Tada-U airpost was attacked with five 107mm rockets yesterday evening. It was reported that the twelve 107-mm rockets were attacked by the alliance team from the urban special operation against the Air Force Base in the Township of Mandalay. That mission was carried out jointly by the Security & Special Task Force (SSTF-MDY) and Urban Special Operations (U.S.O) with the support of Brave Warriors For Myanmar (BWM).
“We intended to fire twelve 107-mm rockets, but about 7 malfunctioned. Only 5 were able to be fired”, said the official of the U.S.O. However, according to residents, there was no damage.
