30 Million Kyats each for the first prize, 20 Million Kyats for the second prize, and 10 Million Kyats for the third prize to athletes who won medals in 2023 international competitions, and a total of 390 Million Kyats was awarded by the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, attending the state awarding ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw.
Myanmar got a total of 5 gold, 5 silver, and 14 bronze medals in Asian class and World class competitions, totaling 24 medals.
State Administration Council Chair PM said that plans are underway to hold the 5th National Sports Festival in December to achieve success in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (Thailand).
