The Myanmar Bamboo Agriculture Association, the Bamboo Shoots Industry Group said that although has received an order to buy from China for dried bamboo shoots produced in Myanmar, it has not yet been able to export due to the lack of raw materials. Currently, there is an order to buy about 200 tons of dried Myanmar bamboo shoots from Japan, but due to the lack of raw materials, it has not been able to export as much as the market needs.
It is reported that the Lit Liam, Hlwe Gyi, Yay Pyaung Pyan, Gamone Taung, Myay Myo Taung, Saung Taung Gyi, Mae Pauk, and Pin Ye So Regions in Pyinmana Township, Nay Pyi Taw, are rich in bamboo forests and produce the most bamboo shoots. Know that domestically produced dried bamboo shoots are bought from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and China.
