Egyptian Football Federation announced Mohamed Salah, the captain of the Egypt national team, who will miss two Africa Cup of Nations games against Cape Verde and in the Round of 16 in the case of qualification due to a hamstring injury.
After drawing their opening two games at the Africa Cup of Nations, Egypt team need to beat already-qualified Cape Verde to be guaranteed of advancing in second place in their group.
