In Myanmar to be able to value and preserve classical vehicles, and in order to be allowed to be officially recorded as historical vehicles the Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced that 1980 model and earlier vehicles which registrations have been canceled because they were previously registered and have not been renewed at the Road Transport Administration Department, they will be re-registered as antique classic vehicles with fine.
The announcement of Ministry of Transport and Communications stated that the re-registration of antique classic vehicles can be done at the Road Transport Administration Department of relevant regional/state/district within a period of 6 months from February 1 to July 31, and detailed information can be accessed at www.motc.gov.mm and www.myanmarrtad.com.
