Last December, 34,255 tourists visited Ngwe Taung Beach on Hai Gyi Island

Ngaputaw Township, Ayeyawaddy Region, Haigyi Kyun City, near Tin Chaung Village, Ngwe Taung Beach was visited by 34,255 tourists last December, according to Daw Ni Ni Ma, who is in charge of Ngaputaw Township’s Tourism Association.

During the month from December 1st to 31st last year, 34,255 tourists visited Ngwe Taung Beach. “Last December, 34,255 tourists visited Ngwe Taung Beach. As the open season comes, more and more tourists are coming. Within a month, tourists from all over Myanmar have arrived.

It is estimated that more tourists will come during the coming summer school holidays than now,” said Daw Ni Nima.
Most of the tourists who visit Ngwe Taung Beach are from the Yangon Region, and most of them visit during the Christmas and December school holidays and office holidays.
