Officials from the Tatmadaw and the Three Brotherhood Alliance held talks in Kunming, China, for Peace in Shan State (Northern) and agreed to a temporary ceasefire, including the reopening of all border gates.
A source close to the talks, the agreement was signed at 10:00 p.m. January 11 local time Kunming talks were held due to Chinese authorities’ negotiation.
