Retirees can withdraw their pensions at 55 bank branches free of charge without having to move banks

Since 2023 September, the Pay system of the pension for Retirees has changed from the e-Pension system to the Centralized e-Pension system at Myanma Economic Bank. In 2024 January, there are 55 branches of the bank operating the Centralized e-Pension system.

Today Myanmar Economic Bank announced through state press, “Retirees can withdraw their pensions with e-Pension cards at 55 branches of Myanmar Economic Bank free of charge without having to transfer from one bank to another”.
