Up to 8th January 2024, Myanmar’s civil war has displaced more than 2.6 million people, including 660,000 who recently fled their homes after intensified fighting, according to the latest statement by the United Nations.
According to the United Nations humanitarian aid group, the number of displaced people in the region and state is increasing, and the threat to the lives of civilians is increasing due to the intensification of fighting between various armed groups and the military since late October.
