The domestic gold price dropped to Ks-3,530,000 per tical again today due to the slide in the dollar exchange rate and stable global gold price.
The dollar exchange rate plunged to Ks-3500 per dollar in domestic market as of 15 September and Ks-3440 per dollar today. The global god price was US$-1927 per ounce.
Similarly, pure gold price fell by Ks-40000 to Ks-3530000 per tical during five days.
The domestic gold price soared to over 3.6 million per tical again on 11 September. But the price plummeted below Ks-3.6 million again due to stable global gold price and dollar exchange rate.
In external market, the gold price and foreign exchange rate stood Ks-3585000 and Ks-3520 per dollar respectively on 14 September, Ks-3570000 and Ks-3480 on 15 September, and Ks-3565000 and Ks-3455 on 16 September.
