Myanmar National U-19 women football team secured bronze medal (third place) by beating Indonesia with a penalty score at the 2023 AFF U-19 Women’s Championship.
Indonesia, the host country, played with might and main and the Myanmar women team’s defender and goal keeper made defends.
Although Myanmar forward created many opportunities, they played hard to score goal. Yin Loon Eain scored first goal for Myanmar in the 30th minute of the first half.
Indonesia fought back and got a penalty goal in the 49th minute of second half. In the remaining minutes, both teams played to get a winning goal but they cannot made a score. In the penalty desicion, Theingi Htwe, Sandar Lin, Phyu Phyu Win and Phyu Phwe from Myanmar scored goals, and Indonesia scored only two goals. So, Myanmar won bronze medal with 4-2 win to Indonesia.
