Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than met with a Russian delegation led by Mr Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, and discussed matters related to Russia-Myanmar cooperation.
During the meeting, they frankly discussed current situation of Russia-Myanmar Cooperation, especially in production of steel, pharmaceutical, textile, cement, and medical equipment, opportunities for development of MSME businesses and prospects from cooperation of people of the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Minister for Industry Alexey V.Gruzdev, director of the Department of the countries of Asia, Africa, Latin America of the MOI Nosov Sergey Sergeevich and concerned officials as well as Myanmar delegates.
Moreover, Myanmar delegate visited the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg of Russian Federation on 11 July.
