The Department of Civil Aviation and airport operators need to strive implementing good services for the convenience of the passengers, airport cleanness and standard structure of airport buildings, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San said during the meeting with officials of domestic airlines and airport operators.
The Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister arrived at the international departure terminal and inspected situations of services providing by respective airlines and departmental officials from the arrival time to departure time of passengers, and the safety and security measures.
Then, the Union Minister arrived at the Civil Aviation Training Institute of the Department of Civil Aviation and met with responsible persons from the domestic airlines, Airport Operators and security responsible personnel.
At the meeting, the Union Minister said the department of civil aviation is a regulator representing the State for the safety and security of the airport and flights in line with the standardizations of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), law and by-laws,
Then, the attendees from the airlines and airport operators clarified the status of flights of the airlines, rendering Services for the passengers and the safety and security measure for the flight and passengers.
The Union Minister coordinated the requirements for the difficulties facing and fulfilled necessary matters.
