Myanmar Airways International is planning to extend Yangon-Singapore-Yangon flights due to the significant growing number of Singaporean travellers to Myanmar in 2023.
Over 400,000 tourists visited Myanmar from January to May 2023, most of whom came from Singapore.
MAI will extend the operation of Yangon-Singapore-Yangon flights starting from 16 July. Previously, the flights operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays a week, and they were extended to include Mondays and Wednesdays starting from 29 May. Now, MAI enlisted Sunday on the flight schedules.
MAI is operating Yangon-Singapore-Yangon routes twice a day, and the departure from Yangon is 8.20 am and arrival in Singapore is 12.50 pm (local time). The return flight departs from Singapore at 1.50 pm local time and arrives back in Yangon at 3.20 pm.
The flight which departs from Yangon at 3.15 pm arrives in Singapore at 7.45 pm local time, and the return flight departs from Singapore at 8.45 pm local time and arrives back in Yangon at 10.15 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
