A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, who is in Shenzhen of China, visited BYD electric vehicle manufacturer on 3 July.
The union minister and party heard reports presented by manager Ms. Gillian Li Bin of Asia-Pacific Sales Department on launching to manufacture the BYD vehicles, current operation of plant, market availability and manufacturing the electric vehicles.
Afterward, the union minister asked for more information and looked around the manufacturing of BYD vehicles.
Then, the union minister, together with the Myanmar Ambassador to China U Tin Maung Swe, arrived at the K Star plant which produces solar-powered materials, and observed the information on the plant and manufacturing the solar-powered materials and exports to foreign countries.
