A Myanmar delegation led by Union Electric Power Minister U Thaung Han, currently in the Russian Federation to attend the International Business Forum to be held in Saint Petersburg, observed the factory of JSC Atomenergomash (AEM-Technologies ‘Izhora’) near St Petersburg on the morning of 14 June.
On arrival at the factory of JSC Atomenergomash (AEM-Technologies ‘Izhora’), the delegation studied the production and installation of boiler and turbine equipment used in thermal power plants at Workshop Nos. 33 and 34.
Later, Director-General Mr Kotov Igor of JSC Atomenergomash (AEM-Technologies ‘Izhora’) explained the operation and production of the factory using PowerPoint at the factory’s meeting hall, and the Union minister posed inquiries regarding the information he sought.
The Union minister and party visited the factory of the Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering (CDBM) in the afternoon and Production Director Mr Alexy Kuzmin explained the production status of the factory to them.
The Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering is a factory with 80 years of experience and it mainly produces thermal equipment, cold water systems, pump systems, and pipeline systems.
In addition to the production of essential equipment needed in thermal-powered plants, assembly of ships and oil and natural gas production, the bureau engages in design development.
